Donating to the Sema Hadithi Foundation supports the ongoing research and preservation of African American history in the Utah Territory and Mountain West.
At Sema Hadithi, we're more than an institution – we're a group of dedicated individuals committed to bringing life to the stories that have shaped our community. "Sema Hadithi" translates to "tell the story" in Swahili, and that's exactly what we're here to do – share and celebrate the narratives of African Americans, especially the descendants of the enslaved and formerly enslaved, who have greatly contributed to Utah's fabric.
Donations support the Sema Hadithi Foundation’s day-to-day operations, exhibits, programming and research. There are currently two ways to donate to the foundation.
